An amazing 18ct yellow gold French Sardonyx signet ring featuring an engraved monogram with a great history behind it. The inside of the ring is inscribed with the French words "souviner des habitants de Chatou 1870 es 1871" which translates to "remembering the inhabitants of Chatou 1870 and 1871". The Franco-Prussian war changed the balance of power in Europe and resulted in the relative decline of France and confirmed the rise of a United Germany as the major power on the continent. We believe the ring is to commemorate the men from Chatou who fought and lost their lives in this bloody war.

Resizing
We offer complimentary ring sizing on all items where possible. Please leave an order note at checkout with the ring size required.
Due to the nature of some stone settings and designs we are not able to re-size some pieces and this will be stated in the item description.
Warranty

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase. This includes issues such as loose gemstones, faulty clasps, or any other defects arising from the production process.

It will be stated on the product page if the item comes with supporting paperwork or certificates. If an item does not have a certificate we are able to provide EDR jewellery reports with a purchase if requested.
