We're looking for a Jewellery Sales Advisor & Stock Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail-focused, and genuinely interested in jewellery and exceptional customer service.

About the Role

This is a dual role combining in-store client service with stock and product coordination. You’ll help customers in our Hatton Garden showroom and also manage the behind-the-scenes tasks that keep our shop running smoothly, from checking in new pieces to preparing them for sale.

This is an in-person role and includes some weekend work as part of a rota.

  • Provide helpful, informed advice on antique jewellery
  • Guide clients through the sales process in a professional and approachable way
  • Help meet sales targets while maintaining high standards of service

Stock & Product Management

  • Add and update product details in our stock systems (Shopify and internal database)
  • Ensure accurate information on materials, measurements, pricing, and descriptions
  • Maintain accurate records and keep stock levels up to date

Condition & Quality Control

  • Check each item for condition before it’s listed or sold
  • Track and manage items needing repair, resizing, or cleaning
  • Coordinate with our workshop and update customers on progress

Skills & Experience

Required

  • At least 2 years’ experience in luxury sales or high-end retail
  • Comfortable working with customers and providing excellent service
  • Confident using Shopify, Google Sheets, and/or Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Basic knowledge of jewellery (materials, hallmarks, gemstones)

Preferred

  • Gem-A qualification (DGA or FGA) or similar
  • Experience with antique or fine jewellery
  • Background in luxury retail

Personal Qualities

  • Reliable and consistent in your work
  • Self-motivated and organised
  • Friendly and confident in a small team environment
  • Genuine passion for jewellery

What We Offer

  • Hands-on experience with historic and unique jewellery
  • Training in jewellery care and identification
  • Competitive pay and opportunities to grow in the role
