An impressive vintage star sapphire and old cut diamond cluster cocktail ring set in 18k gold.
The piece is predominately set with a large oval cabochon star sapphire which is securely claw set. The star sapphire is set amongst a cluster of old cut diamonds which leads to split gold shoulders.
What people don't know is that a star sapphire is a rare variety of sapphire which exhibits a unique optical illusion known as 'asterism'. Asterism is where a six rayed star appears to float across the surface of the gemstone when viewed under a light source. This unique feature makes the stone incredibly unique, especially of this size!

- Stone Weight: There is an estimated star sapphire weight of 42 carats. There is an estimated combined old cut diamond weight of 2.50 carats, ranging H-J in colour with VS-SI clarity.
- Finger Size: The ring is currently a UK finger size M. This can be resized for a perfect fit.
- Dimensions: The head of the ring measures 24 x 26-millimetres and sits 13-millimetres off the finger.
- Weight: 15.8 grams.
- Hallmarks: The ring is stamped for 18k gold.

Resizing
We offer complimentary ring sizing on all items where possible. Please leave an order note at checkout with the ring size required.
Due to the nature of some stone settings and designs we are not able to re-size some pieces and this will be stated in the item description.
Warranty

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase. This includes issues such as loose gemstones, faulty clasps, or any other defects arising from the production process.
