Marketing Executive - Wave Antiques

Wave Antiques is excited to be hiring a Marketing & Sales Executive to join our 5th-generation family business, specialising in second-hand, vintage, and antique jewellery. Based in the heart of Hatton Garden, we pride ourselves on providing a unique collection of high-quality, curated pieces for our clients.

About You:

We’re looking for an ambitious, friendly, and detail-oriented individual to help us grow. The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-3 years of marketing and/or sales experience, ideally within the luxury retail or jewellery sector.
• E-commerce experience and familiarity with online sales platforms.
• A deep appreciation for vintage jewellery and a genuine passion for the industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, approachable attitude.

About the Role:

As a Marketing & Sales Executive you will:

• Jewellery Content and Photoshoots: Plan and execute high-quality photoshoots for jewellery pieces, create engaging content for our Shopify store and social media platforms.
• E-Commerce Support: Manage and update our Shopify platform, ensuring accurate product information and optimising the online shopping experience.
• Weekend Work: Willingness to work on Saturdays, as weekends are a crucial part of the retail and jewellery industry. Flexibility to support the team during busy periods is essential.
• Operational Support: Assist with daily operations, including processing transactions, maintaining records, and handling customer inquiries via email and Instagram.
• Customer Engagement: Welcome clients to the showroom, provide personalised consultations, and guide them through our curated collection.
• Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the history, craftsmanship, and uniqueness of each piece to share with customers.
• Market Insights: Stay informed about trends in the vintage and antique jewellery market to serve client interests.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of Shopify management or experience with e-commerce platforms.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere) is advantageous.
• A background in jewellery is preferred.
• Gem A qualification is desired but not essential.
