A beautiful antique Victorian old cut diamond crescent moon brooch set in silver and gold.
This recognisable piece of Victorian craftsmanship is composed of a gold and silver arrow set to either side with old cut diamonds. To the centre of the arrow is a crescent moon motif, set with further old cut diamonds. The piece is secured to reverse with a pin and hook fitting.
Both the arrow and crescent moon motif were made popular in the Victorian era. The arrow symbolises love, protection and peace; whereas the crescent moon symbolizes romance, empowerment, change and spirituality.
For size reference, the brooch measures 1.2 x 4.0 centimetres and there is a gross weight of 2.8 grams. There is an estimated total old cut diamond weight of 0.30 carats. Ranging J-K with VS-SI clarity. Due to the age, circa 1880, the brooch is not hallmarked however has tested for gold. Accompanied by a vintage box.

Resizing
We offer complimentary ring sizing on all items where possible. Please leave an order note at checkout with the ring size required.
Due to the nature of some stone settings and designs we are not able to re-size some pieces and this will be stated in the item description.
Warranty

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase. This includes issues such as loose gemstones, faulty clasps, or any other defects arising from the production process.
